Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.

So that everyone including gentiles, transgressors can be served and this is to show love God he has on all of us regardless of whether we love or hate him. Amen!!!

What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven."

I think he was feeling blessed because he was mocked and humiliated for doing what he came here on earth for, salvation and he was also glad and rejoicing that it is fullfilled what is written that the Son of man shall be mocked, tortured and persecuted and be crusified to serve the world. Amen!!!

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

People put popularity above doing what is right because they want to be part of majority, please other people or trying not to exacerbate/stir up riot and in this case, Pilate did just that to fullfil what the scripture has said, " Jesus shall be tortured, and be put to death for our sins, to serve the world". Amen!!!
