WHEN DARK DAYS COME

Proverbs.23:18

23:18 For surely there is a future,

and your hope will not be cut off.

Things might seem dark unbearable and unconquerable when you are in the middle of a situation .

You feel defeated and overwhelmed .It is so dark and there is no light ,all you can think about is the

problem and it is huge !Nobody can help you and every thing they say is a cleshay .Nothing seems to help ,you do not feel like reading the Bible or praying .You feel like dying ,you want to sit in a corner and cry your heart out .

You are not the only one that feel that way ,you are not the first and you will not be the last .It is some off a relief to know that there is other people that feel the way you do and that you are not alone .But it still does not help you it is not enough .You want more ,you need something to hold on to something that will pick you up and carry you through this situation .You need strength !

I can tell you that only God can help .When I felt that way God spoke to me through Proverbs.23:18

He gave me a new outlook He picked me up and carried me through .I would not have made it on my own ! Only God can comfort you in this situation and that is why even if you do not feel like

reading the Bible and praying do it ,because it is then that you need it the most and it is then that

God comes through for you .After I prayed to God and asked Him to help me He gave me hope and inspiration through Prov .23:18.

Oh ,He spoke to me a lot in that time of need and inspired me so much that I had the peace and calm of the Lord in me .I could think straight again I could focus on Him and my problems seemed to have disappeared .I knew that my problem were still there but it did not matter anymore ,I was at peace .

When I feel that things start getting the better of me I new what to do ,I would go on my knees and talk with God And He would give me that inner peace that defy's all logic .Oh ,how good that felt ,to be at peace ,not only with the situation but with yourself .

To be at peace with yourself is so important it lifts you up and gives you a totally different view of the problem at hand .The Word of God is powerful ,through His Word He created all things ,and if He talks to you to encourage you everything falls into place ,cause He said so .

Thank you our heavenly Father ,

for helping us when we need you .All we have to do is ask and you would move mountains for us

,You did so when You send Your only Son ,Jesus Christ ,to die on the cross for us ,thank you Father.

We love you , and we know we can trust in you .
