How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?

I would not say it is a new commandement. In the Old Testament people prayed directly to God. We now go according to the New Testment whereby we pray to Jesus Christ who is our spokeperson. He will then relay our prayer request to God which we all know will be answered, hence intimacy and obedience.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?

I will hug him for an hour and tell him how much I love him. I would bless him and praise him and thank him with my whole heart. I would discuss the crucification, for people that are ungrateful. People that do not believe how can we get them to see and feel what I feel. I would discuss on how to be more like him. I would discuss on how to be grateful and understanding and loving to other people and to show these feelings (this is difficult for me to show). I would discuss the 10 commandments, generational curses, and the principalties of fullfilled life for me and my children and their children

firstly, i will tell him that it is a priviledge to meet him. then i will thank him for what he has done for the whole universe and me in particular. the other thing is to show gratitude and be able to ask lots of questions about what its like to die for other people and be crucified for them. i will tell him that i have what i have it is because of him and his father. and that i love them for forgiving me when i am a sinner.
