Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Because now love is serving It is nolonger about what I get out of the relationship but what I give. That is what Jesus is teaching us He says we must veiw love as sacrifice The very way He loved and loves us He sacrificed His innocence for my corruption His joy for my sadness He suffered that I may be free That surely is a new comandment compared to that lived by the sadduces and pharises He loved us with de love of God and He pleads with us to love the same way

How do Jesus` words make you feel? You may want to save your answer as "Private" They open up the wounded heart. They expose my hard heartedness. My hypocritic love. Love for gain. Many a time I find myself giving and helping out in other situations from face value it good In reality no for these things are done for personal gain. That it may be said am nice. God did all out of a compassinate heart true love of helping without expecting any gain. I pray for forgiveness. That may help me develop a true strong relationship with him
