Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?

this is an extension of the teaching by Jesus that in my Father`s house there are many mansions When we get there does not matter-all that matters is how to get there and that is through the Son and that acceptance guarantees us equality in the Kingdom..

Why did Jesus tell the rich man to sell all his possessions before coming to follow Him?

because Jesus wanted all of us to understand that it was not easy to get into the Kingdom of God-that it was something requiring great sacrifice and dedication to be achieved. Jesus also wanted us to understand that one cannot be weighed down by earthly wealth and still be seeking the Kingdom of God.

How does hardness of heart lead to divorce? How does one avoid having a hard heart?

a hard heart fails to see beyond fault and is therefor unforgiving. one can avoid divorce b being forgiving and accomodating of the weakneses of the other.
