What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

Jesus, despite being the son of God, began His life as an ordinary Jewish boy. Thus He, in keeping with the Jewish Traditions, was a student in the synagogue. But, because he was the chosen One, H e had wisdom far beyond His years.
