How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?

Without obediance there is no intmacy People get so close to each other cause they obey one onother That is what Jesus is calling us to to obey His word to live it in our everyday lives He says to know Him is to know his because He obeyed the father While on earth He would have easily joined the scribes and pharises and enjoyed life He would have taught without doing or following His own teachings But because He had brought a new commandment He obeyed the father by both mouth and action. The new commandment as carrying out the word It is reaching out to God's people, the down trodden the out cast. The goodnews is about acceptance Jesus' first synagouge sermon is to announce His mission as found in Isiah 61 That alone spells out the new commandment His call is to act on behalf of the poor This is the old mission of the God of the Israelites to act on behalf of the poor

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?

I would ask Him about the tree of life of good and evil I would ask Him to give me understanding and wisdom of these things so I may be true and fulltime member of His kingdom. He would have to explain deeper on how I can humble myself and be a servant like him I would plead with Him to take away my pride Oh! It wuold be cry to be more like Him caring and loving only those in need
