Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come? The disciples didn't consider children as being important and of any value. So to them the children would just disturb Jesus and take up his valuable time. To Jesus all this was not true because everyone is equal and so Jesus wanted to show that he accepts anyone. He also wanted to use the children as examples of how we should be if we want to enter the kingdom of heaven. We must love and trust God just like children love and trust their fathers and depend on them for everything.
