First it was palm sunday which got the jewish leaders very upset, then he went to clearing the temple and finally the accusations.. He was getting in their way so they had to find a way to get rid of him. Before they did want him dead but because of him actions in his final week, they were more upset and really wanted him dead.. So jesus knew what was going to happen to him but still did not run away instead he was more brave and used his work which was to tell people the truth about the Kingdom of God to incite them into doing what they did to him.. He knew he was going to be crucified and betrayed.. All he needed to do was continue doing God's work and out of anger from the others the rest of the events would follow automatically.

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?" i believe he accomplished all of them.. By the way he lived his life till his death on the cross he managed to demonstrate God's love to each one of us and mostly by dying on the cross, he managed to bring the good news to the people, sacrifice himself for others, he was a source of abundant life and bring the kingdom of God to earth and help people understand it.. He accomplished all these things in just 3 years.. Mostly i believe he really showed us how much God loves us.. He loves us so much that he want us to know the good news which is about his kingdom, give us life abundantly, and to sacrifice himself for each one of us.. This was the best demostration of God's love for us..
