Why did the high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God? They viewed it as as a blasphemy because they did not espect the Son of God to appear like an ordinary man to them and that He was comming from a poor family.But thought that He would come direct from Heaven with greater authority.
