How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. Being forgiven increases one’s love for God by the assurance we have that it is only Him alone can truly care for our concerns and our wellbeing. Then we re drawn closer to Him with the assurance that we have true love in Him alone and there is nowhere we can go for help, but to God alone for help. We therefore attracted to love. Forgiven we receive from God also increases our love for Him by realizing that He is ready to take care of our suffering and since no one loves sickness, illnesses, diseases and rejection. We are drawn to love Him more because we now know where to direct our problems to and in return get the peace, health, love, care and many more of His promises.
