What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven."

In his heart he was praying for them and asking God to forgive them because they didn't know what they were doing and he ffelt sorry for the and was maid very sad. i think he was also rejoicing on gthe inside because he knew that he was bless and that he had greater rewards where he was going.

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

Popularity gives you status in a sociaty. People respect you love you and sometimes what to be like you. So for the fact that they get to feel more important they would rather seek popularity than saying the truth or doing whats right because they dont want to loose their status in sociaty or being hated and ridiculed.
