What is meant by the "end of the age" in Luke 21:5-38? The end of the age refers to the end of mans rule on Earth. After the rule of man Jesus will take over rulership of Earth. A new Jerusalem will be brought from Heaven and God will stay with the faithful ones on Earth

If Jesus knew he was being betrayed "behold, the hand of him who betrays me", why not tell who was the betrayer? Telling the bretrayer would "foil" biblical prophecy. So to allow prophy to proceed unhindered, Jesus had to hide the identity of the betrayer.
