Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

The lowly people Jesus referred to were the children, the poor, the lame and those who were labelled as sinners. He considered these valuable because they held no prejudices to the word and kingdom of God. These are respective to the word of God as they dont place much value in the riches of this earth like the rich people and the Pharisees of that time who considered themselves knowledgable and superior about the word of God. It is the lowly people who will inherit the kingdom of God because they have unquestioning belief of the existence and purpose of God.

Brief life summary of Jesus

From being wanted DEAD by Herod past being a carpenter to temptation (by the devil) Jesus put out of His mind all He had left in Heaven.For the most important part,He went through grievious & painfull moments.Seing the dead,sick and the poor was like emotional abuse to Him.Thus we saw Him weep in John 11:35. The whips that found their way to His back were unbearable.Nails being forced through Him by heavy hammers came along with excrutiating pain.However,He lived and died for us just out of LOVE.
