392 entries for this category: I think Jesus knew that His departure was going to upset His Disciples and maybe they would have gone in to fight back.Where as to Him ,was to forgive His persecutors.We can see this when Jesus announced at first that He was to die Peter acted voilently untill Jesus was forced to call Him Satan. Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die?

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? I think that it is what humans experience in different stqges when they sin, so Jesus in His human nqture had to experience the same. He is able to be fully compassionate and understanding of our own earthly struggles because he suffered the same pain. He had our same experiences and knows how it is very difficult to be good (righteous) on earth

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? Given that Jesus came into the World as Man and as God, He had to suffer both phsically and Spiritually.This because as Man not everybody who listened to His Teachings beleived in Him .As such they were mad at Him just as human beings when they disagree they usually turn to voilence.But nevertheless all had been predicted.
