What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?

The Pharisees said Jesus does not cast out demons,except by Beelzebul the prince of demons.It was a serious offense because Beelzebul is a Father of liars and is evil as opposed to the Holy Spirit whois the giver of Life.That is why Jesus warns that anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven.

Why does the Father hide things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants?

THe Father hides things from the wise andintelligent and reveals them to infants because the wise will always think that everything that happens to them is due to their hard work.whereas everything happens according to Gods will.On the contrary,the infants understands that there is a Supreme being who controls everything.So whatever they do is sorely depended on Him.

When answering John`s question about whether He was the Christ, why did Jesus point out the results of his ministry rather than just saying yes or no?

Jesus points out the results of His Ministry rather than just yes because,John is the one who prepared the way fore Jesus.Before john went to prison,he had seen Jesus and had made it clear to the public that that was jesus when he told them that Jesus is greater than him.Also when Jesus came to be baptised by John,John refused at His request and untill Jesus continued that John did.So Jesus gave this answer to confirm what john already knew.
