Why was it important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation?

Jesus is our Lord and saviour,He is our teacher and Master.It becomes very important for Him to go through temptation in order to prove to us that He is God and has power more than the enemy satan.This is so because he knows very well that satan being a liar and deceiver,will very much like to tempt his followers.So allowing Himself to be tempted is to teach us how to answer satan when we are tempted by using scriptures for Jesus knows how weak we are.When we abandon ourselves to Him to fight for us by using scripture,we will always win as He won.

How did (does) repenting prepare someone for the Kingdom of God?

repentance is the act of renouncing the wrong things or the things that are against the will of God and doing the tthings God wants.So when one repents from sin it means that person has rejected satan and has embrased Christ.One begins to act according to Gods will.and of course He promises the Kingdom of God to all who obey Him and do what The Father wants him to do.

What is the Kingdom of God?

The Kingdom of God is the understanding, living and practicing the principles of the teachings of the word of God by Jesus for what his purpose in this world was consisted. Jesus thought us to love one another,and since no one can hurt the one he/she loves, we shall share anything we have with the Needy, Orphans, Widows, the less privilege, the abandoned(sick). you will never think of evil to any love one, thereby making us to leave in total security and liberty in the kingdom of God.
