392 entries for this category: Reading the Bible we discover that one of Jesus teachings is about fornication.He warns against sexual immoralty and in one of His gospels,He warns about divorce saying that if a man divorces his wife for reasons apart from the reasons of fornication then that person will be punished.In this verse there is clear act of sexual promiscuity that may have reduced His personal interest in getting married. What perspective did Jesus have, that may have reduced his personal interest in getting married? Note: Nothing in the four primary biographies discuss Jesus being married.

Why did Jesus answer their question with a question? Why didn`t he just say that his authority came from God? From what the people were contemplating on it shows that they already know the answer but only wanted to tease Jesus with their own questions.Jesus knew that and that is why He answered them by asking a question.

Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words? This is because He had already made it clear that He came to save not to condem.So He had to let these people know his authority.
