Why do you suppose they were filled with fear then comforted by Jesus eating food? It was so because, spirit NEVER eat food. So with this they were satisfied.

Jesus said "I send forth the promise of my Father on you", what was the promise? The promise of His Father was the Power of the Holy Spirit, that's why He used the conjuntion word BUT to explain the first phrase by saying "untill you are clothed with Power from on high."
