418 entries for this category: Jesus choose a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) because He had to fulfil prophacy, as it was written in the scriptures that He will sit on a young donkey's colt and rid on it into Jerusalem. Also even though Jesus is the son of God, He never glorified himself, but has always remaind humble. Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention? In order for the scriptures to be fullfilled, Jesus had to allow Judas to betray Him, so that every word that has be prophesied by the prophets and written in the Holy Book will be fullfilled. For that reason the Son of God was born, betrayed and was crucified on the cross of Calvary to fulfil the purpose and plan of God.

Why are Jesus` followers called "children of light"? Jesus' followers are called "children of light" because Jesus is the light of this world. If we obey, observe and carry out all His instrutions, commendment and follow His word, than we are children of light because of believe in Jesus who is the light of this world.
