It also teaches us that if we have faith enough, we can lay hands on any kind of disease and pray, contageous or not and God will answer and heal. Why did Jesus heal by touching the man with leprosy (a contageous disease)?

How does Simon Peter feel about himself, and how does Jesus change that? Simon Peter feel that he is a sinful person who is not worthy for Jesus to look upon and Jesus changed that by asking Peter to follow Him (Jesus) so that he can be made a fisher of men.

What part of Jesus` "mission statement" (reading from Isaiah) has the most appeal to you? I think every part of His "mission statement" appeal to me, but the ones that touches me most are these: the preaching of the good news to the poor, the healing of the brokenhearted, the recovering of sight and the proclaiming of the acceptable year of the Lord.
