Why does Jesus place commandments to actively love above commandments to refrain from evil (thou shall notÃ¢€Â¦)? Note: Jesus answered with two quotations from the Jewish law about loving God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and about loving neighbors (Leviticus 19:18).

Yes because love we know covers a multitude of sin,when you love your God,His fear in you which is the evidence of the Holy spirit will always guide you against doing evil which is authomatical against the characteristics of true love.Can you do evil to the one you love?

What did the blind man acknowledge about Jesus by calling him the "Son of David."? Note: David was a great king of Israel. The "Messiah" was predicted to be a direct descendent of David, as Jesus was.

The blind man first acknowledged David as a mighty king and knowing that JESUS CHRIST is also of the royal princehood,a son of the great king,he believed that as a prince,He can still excercise the power and authority of His father.This believe of the blind man together with the action he took gave him healing in his eyes.
