Peter was afraid,having seen the large number of people standing against JESUS CHRIST and at the same time the thaughts of the consequences of the trial,put him into more fear of being presecuted with CHRIST which he might also know that death is the action.Today,in our christian life,the fear about death,has been a very big limitation to our identification with CHRIST.Yes that is our problem but we fail to remember that JESUS can do all things if we believe.That is why HE said that whoever that want to follow him must be ready to forfiet all to follow HIM.Again HE also gave us the assurance that whoever that loses his or her life on HIS behalf,will regain it.Above all these promises,HE also made us to understand that we should not fear one who will only destroy the flesh alone,so our interest as christians should be on the position of our soul which is the reallife.The say it all fear of death and presecution is the enemy.Therefore,we should remove the germent of fear and put on courage covered with faith.

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction? If that has happened,then we all could have lost forever and the purpose of HIS birth, wouldnt have been fulfilled and the scripture will not then be true.You believe because It happened,then if not we could not have been saved.Thank GOD for sending us JESUS CHRIST.

In what ways can we be watching for the coming of the Son of Man? There is no other better way to watch for the coming of our Lord JESUS CHRIST,apart from walking in HIS light.That is understanding HIS desires in our life and keeping upto expectations.We should always focus our mind on the fact that we are awaiting our Lords second coming.As a son awaiting his fathers return from a long journey,he puts every effort to make sure that no matter the time or hour of his fathers coming,everything neccessary to please him has been put in place.
