Why was it necessary for Jesus to increase and John to decrease?

This is because John came as a messenger of christ.just like when a servant is attaining to customers while his master has not arrived.when tyhe master arrives,the servant will now do things under the instruction of the master.Jesus is the master while John the Baptist came as a servant before him to clear the way for him.

I want to use this medium to express my sympathy over the tragedy that occured in the United States.I felt sad over the inncident,but as christians,the scripture said that we should not mourn like unbelievers as we believe that our loved ones who passed away are just resting, waiting for the day of ressurection when death will have no powwer over the righteous.That is why we should seek first the kingdom of and his righteousness,so that even when death comes we will not feel it, because we know that a day is coming when we will meet again to part no more.I pray to God to give the families,friends and relations of the deceased the fortitude to bear the lost.
