Describe what you would do if you were there watching Jesus ascend?

First i will feel scared on witnessing such unexpected action but will later glorify the lord for all he has done for giving me the privlege to wittness his ascension and continue to praise him for his supremacy and glory.

Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

Yes it does.it is not easy,knowing all he is going to pass through,the pains,torture,humiliation,insults and all the maltreatments,yet he went ahead to bear them for a purpose very dear to him,to redeem all that believeth from sin and its consequences.whenever i think about that,i all say yes his promises are ehh and amen.l strongly put my confidence in him every time any where.He is worthy to be praised.

Bonus question: Why was the veil torn in two? "The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two"

It signifies that from that moment on,nothing can separate us from the love of God,as we now have direct access to the holy presence of God the father through him Jesus christ.As in the days before christ,the veil in the temple is always used to put demarcation between the inner room in the temple where the presence of God is believed to be present from the sight of the fellowers,only the high priests,going in once a year.Now as the torn,fellowers can now see God like other high priests.
