How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment? Jesus said,If you love me,keep my commandment.By obeying his commandment,you draws him closer into your life hence building up his love for you.Obedience brings about love and promotes intimacy.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss? First,i will thank him for giving his life to save me from the burden of the old commandment.second,just as the rich man asked,what shall I do to inherite eternal life.This is because it will be a painful experience spending eternity in hell fire.After all the difficulty challanges of this wicked world,one need a place of absolute peace and joy to spend eternity.So if such an opportunity comes to me,i will use it to register my stand and ask for his divine direction towards walking on the directed part.For the bible says,when you think you are standing,watch well so you do not fall.
