418 entries for this category: Jesus calls the Pharisees blind because they were unable to see that the commandments of God was what they were suppose to live by and not by their own man-made laws. So by obeying their man-mad laws, they were disobeying the laws and commendments of the living God which was being thought by Jesus. Why was Peter`s rebuke a stumbling block to Jesus? Peter's rebuke was a stumbling block in that he was not focusing on the things of God and the purpose for which Jesus came, but was thinking in flash of how should a Saviour go through what Jesus was thinking of going through. He lost himself and allow the devil to use him to rebuke Jesus.

Why didn`t Jesus want his disciples to tell others that He was the Christ? Jesus had not finished his works here on earth, so he did not want the disciples to tell others that he was the Christ. He wanted them to find that our in faith and believe.
