Note: Jesus answered with two quotations from the Jewish law about loving God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and about loving neighbors (Leviticus 19:18). This is because love conquers all things. If one loves God with ones heart, soul mind and strength and loves the neighbour as himself it will be difficult to do evil against one another and then peace will reign.

What is Jesus trying to teach with this parable? Hint: The vineyard (where grapes are grown) is Israel; The farmer is God; the servants are the prophets who were sent by God; the son is Jesus; and the tenants are religious leaders of the Jews. Jesus is trying to teach that Israelwho rejected the prophets, killed some and imprisoned others will also kill Jesus who is the son of God. At the end of the day, the gentiles will come first in the kingdom of God before Israel for accepting Christ and Israel will be last in the kingdom of God for its wickedness and unbelief.
