1513 entries for this category: To be loved by God is to be known by Him and to share in His kingdom. Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words? Jesus might have preached against this on several occasions but it might have felt on deaf ears so this time around he decided to react by throwing everything out of the temple so that it would register on their minds that the temple was not there for trading and profit making but for prayer.

The common people are praising Jesus, expecting him to become Israel`s next king. Jesus knew they would turn against him a few days later when he disappointed their expectation. Do you have expections of Jesus which he did not promise? No I don't. I have a master who never lets me down. Even though sometimes the answer delays he does answer in his own time because he knows when I can handle what I requested.
