1513 entries for this category: Jesus knew their thoughts. He knew they could not withstand what he was going through especially the scribe he must have been living a comfortable life. The second man put the burial of his father before the call, he had to reject him because he realised that the cares of this world would not allow him to have commitment to the challenges he (Jesus) was facing. Jesus was so willing , even eager, to heal the leper because he realised that the Leper recognized who he was - the son of the living God - also the Leper's humble appeal to him was an expression of faith that moved Jesus to heal him. Why did the people ask Jesus to leave, even after He delivered the two demon-possessed men? They couldn't handle the reality. They would not want to lose more of their pigs but they would rather leave with the demon possessed.
