When we lack the fruit of the spirit we will not be able to demonstrate tolerance, forgiveness and when we are hurt by our enemies we tend to hate them. when we love our enemies we tend to be perfect just our Father in heaven is. It was important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation because it demonstrates that the son of man is proned to temptation in order for him to choose whom he would serve whilst on earth. Had he not made the right choice Satan would have got him too just as he got the first Adam. What makes it so difficult to love our enemies? Bonus Question: What happens when we love our enemies?

How does Jesus fulfill the law and the prophets? Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets by preaching, healing, restoring hope to the hopeless, setting at liberty all that are imprisoned by the devil and at the end he died on the cross to save us from the sin.
