What point is Jesus making when He states "eternal life" is knowing the Father and Jesus Christ? When we believe that the Father sent the son Jesus Christ to us. Again when we believe that God is the only true God, therefore, when we glorify and obey the Father through Jesus Christ His Son, who gave His life for us and acknowledge the fact that the Father gave Jesus authority over all flesh, this is eternal life.
