Since Jesus knew that He was to be crucified, why did He not just avoid trouble by leaving town? That attitude would have defeated his mission, which was to save mankind from and reconcile him to God through the shedding of his blood, therefore, he had to stay and have the prophecy fulfilled.

How can one telll whether at the judgement he/she will be a sheep or a goat? Jesus has itemized what will qualify one for the kindgom of God and if one assesses oneself and realises that one does not fall into this catogory, then one can consider oneself a goat but if one falls into this category then one can consider oneself a sheep at the judgment.
