1513 entries for this category: For me, I cannot say because everything I have read about in Luke's biography is very important, however, the visitation of the angel to Zacharias in the temple leading to the birth of John the baptist and Mary leading to the birth of Jesus. This teaches us that with God nothing is impossible. The teachings, the miracles and his death and ascension all portray that Jesus is Lord. From this biography I am more convenced that there is no great teacher who lived on this planet earth that can be compared with my Lord and Master Jesus. Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? BECAUSE HE CAME DOWN TO EARTH AS A HUMAN BEING,AND HAD TO GO THROUGH PYSHICAL AND EMOTIONAL PAIN TO FUFIL HIS WORK ON EARTH.
