Since the good news is also about repentance from all forms of sin and tells us that divorce is not from God (in the beginning it was not so) so anyone who is divorced is acting contrary to God's law and this is sin. Hence the condemnation of divorce. He is our comforter The story comfortes me .As we live , the third person of trinity to comfortes us and even if we die we will have a place in the Abraham Bosom

What is the Good News, and how does this relate to guilt and condemnation of divorce? Good news is Jesus. Good news tells us to repent from our sins, breaks the yoke, heals, sets us free from captivity and it again tells us that divorce is sin, therefore, anybody who divorces has sinned and is guilty (in the beginning it was not so). God did not sanction divorce except on the grounds of one party committing adultery.
