What does Jesus want people (you) to feel when he says that God pays attention to every little bird and numbers of every hair on your head? Jesus knowing our thoughts is aware that we worry about our needs so through the sermon he wants us to feel that God is caring for us and that He has not forgotten us, therefore, we shouldn't worry about anything and we should learn to commit all our needs into His care.

If Jesus was at dinner with "morally upright" religious leaders today, what might he say they are doing wrong? What happened in the days of the Pharisees and Saduccees is still happening in our time. Some religious leaders today are hypocrites, they preach what they don't practice and are after material things. Most of the time one doesn't see the difference between a religious leader and an unbeliever. Jesus might tell them to repent of their lifestyle.
