1513 entries for this category: Since most people around me are also born again christians they will answer that Jesus is the son of God and the Christ sent by God the Father to save us from our sins. The twelve extra baskets represented the 12 tribes of Israel and Jesus' message to them was that if they only believe him there is nothing God can not do for them. He would provide for them more than they would ask for. How would most people around you answer, "Who is Jesus"?

What is Jesus trying to teach his disciples? Jesus is trying to teach the disciples not to be worldly, not to thing of what they will eat or drink because God is able to supply their needs for them. Secondly, he is teaching them not to impose themselves on anybody since the gospel of salvation is a matter of one's choice.
