"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?" According to Jesus to be loved is to be valued in that the one who loves you is ready to be with and even give his life in exchange for yours.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? To be loved by God you must love and believe in Jesus. When you keep Jesus' word close to you and put your trust in him you are loved by the father (God). All love of God comes threw Jesus Christ. Basically if you dont love and accept Jesus you dont love and accept God.
