Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Jesus call "Love One Another" a New" commandments because Love One Another was not part of the Ten Commandments but Jesus emphasize it on his teaching and even said in Mathew that You shall love God and second is You shall love your neighbor as youself.The whole law and the Prophets depends on these two commandments.

Love is all there is. Love is the in-thing. The ministry of Jesus Christ was all about love, which was first shown by our Father by giving us Jesus. Jesus Christ portrayed "love" in His earthly ministry and even to this very day is constantly spreading His love for all. We cannot separate love from Jesus our Lord. He first set the example and expects us Christians, to follow suit. Period!
