His purpose on the earth was to draw mankind to himself, so i don't think he value some people the more. But let me say that anyone who receive him and acknowledge him as their Lord, he really acknowledge but all the same the choice for one to be valuable before Christ is individual affairs. Since Jesus knew that He was to be crucified, why did He not just avoid trouble by leaving town? He doesn't want to disobey His father(God).
