What type of water is Jesus offering to the woman so that she will never thirst again? Jesus was really offering Himself figuratively as the living water to her and to everyone in the world. Jesus was that living water, Signifying that He was offering Himself unto the woman and to those who dare to believe on Him.

Why was it necessary for Jesus to increase and John to decrease? THIS IS WHERE EVERY CHILD MUST KNOW HIS / HER LIMIT IN THE PURSUIT OF GOD GIVEN ASSIGNMENT. JOHN WAS SENT TO PREPARE THE WAY FOR JESUS AND NOTHING ELSE. ONCE HIS ASSIGNMENT HAS EXPIRED, HE HAS TO DECREASE FOR JESUS TO INCREASE. IF JOHN TRIES TO CONTINUE TRYING TO PROMOTE HIMSELF, HE MAY END UP FIGHTING AGAINST GOD OR PURSUING HIS OWN AGENDA OUT OF THE PLAN OF GOD.
