What did Jesus state as the primary purpose of the temple, and how might this apply to today? Jesus stated the primary purpose of the temple as prayer. The house of God is a house of prayer and as the bible says Your body is the Temple of God and the Holy Spirit is within you,(1Corinthians 3:16), we must also recognise that fact and keep our bodies holy and acceptable to Christ Jesus.

What did Jesus state as the primary purpose of the temple, and how might this apply to today? Jesus said the primary purpose of the temple is for prayer. Today, what Jesus preached against is still being practised instead of being used as prayer house some christians still use it to rob and it is very disheartening.
