Since Jesus knew that He was to be crucified, why did He not just avoid trouble by leaving town? Jesus mission was to do His Father's Will and His Father's Will was to die for the sins of men,Jesus being an obedient child to His Father,could not leave but rather prefered to accomplish His Fathe's Will.

Since Jesus knew that He was to be crucified, why did He not just avoid trouble by leaving town? That attitude would have defeated his mission, which was to save mankind from and reconcile him to God through the shedding of his blood, therefore, he had to stay and have the prophecy fulfilled.
