Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem? A donkey carries burden especially loads in timidity. Jesus chose to ride on a donkey to symbolise that he was about to bear our sins and die for us in humility just as the donkey carries our load without in humility.
