Why did Jesus insist on healing on the Sabbath when the Pharisees taught this was sin? Jesus wanted to let them know that it is right to do good on the Sabbath day instead of deferring that good to another day when something terrible might have happened to the person who needed it.

Why did Jesus insist on healing on the Sabbath when the Pharisees taught this was sin? He wanted to portray that it is always right to save lives on the sabbath day rather than allow something bad to happen to a life on Sabbath day simply because it is observed as such.
