What lessons did the disciples learn as a result of encountering Jesus in the middle of the lake? The disciples learnt that in whatever situation they find themselves in in life,they should not be afraid for in the midst of all troubles Christ is present.Thus it is a matter of faith.

How does one, in our current day eat the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood? In our current day we can eat the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood by fully praticipating in the breaking of bread and drinking His blood at the altar.For He Jesus during His last days with His disciples let them to break bread which He made them to understand after blessing it that it was His body.And after blessing the wine He made them to understand that it was His real blood.That is why He says anyone who will beleive in Him,in what He is saying will have eternal life.
