What do you learn about Jesus, asking one of the most disliked men in town to become his follower? The profession of the tax collector makes him unpopular and sometimes sinful and unwanted in the society.These men are also God's children.Though scorned by society,Jesus wanted to show that He had come for everyone willing to be saved from the bondage of sin and shame.

What do you learn about Jesus, asking one of the most disliked men in town to become his follower? This was after HE forgave the paralytic. I think this shows that HE came for those who realize their need and desire HIM. He washes away sins!!. And works with the so-called outcast.
