Why did Jesus heal by touching the man with leprosy (a contageous disease)? Leprosy is contageous, but the power of Jesus is "more congageous", hence leprosy would have no effect on him.

Why did Jesus heal by touching the man with leprosy (a contageous disease)? He demonstrated that sicknesses and diseases had no power over him. Especially leprosy which was considered contagious in those days and the end result is that anyone suffering from this sickness automatically becomes an outcast.
