Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people? Because he was sent to preach the good news - the word of God, therefore, Jesus had to spend more time on that to enable others also to hear about the kingdom of God. The healing aspect was as a result of the compassion he had on the people so he couldn't dwell so much on it.

What is authority, and how did Jesus demonstrate authority in his teachings and actions? The Power given to someone to do anything which in his teaching Jesus demonstrated it. He demonstrated this authority by asking the unclean demon"be silent and come out of him.
