What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven."

He was feeling the pains of the physical torture he was under. On his mind would be the forgiveness and reconciliation he came to offer all including those who mocked and beat him.

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

People put popularity above doing what is right just to gain respect and satisfy their selfish interest. Had it been pilate was not after the throne as in Ruling, he could have release Jesus, but he was afraid of the crowd and don't want to loose his seat. That's what is happening now adays, people do things because of their interest and others, forgetting that God is the one to be pleased not Man! May GOD help this our Generation.
